    Arriving in campus

    The most convenient way to reach Gdańsk Tech from the city centre is to take a tram from Gdańsk Dworzec Główny (Main Train Station) and then walk for about 10–15 minutes to the campus buildings. It is also possible to take a taxi, but the tram is a more environmentally friendly option.

    From Downtown Gdańsk to Gdańsk Tech – 3.2 km (venue)

    Distance: ~3.2 km from the city centre.

    from Gdańsk Dworzec Główny (Main Train Station):
    Northbound lines: 2, 3, 6, 9, 11, 12.
    Stops:
       > Opera Bałtycka (A in map) – 5th stop, lines: 2, 3, 6, 9, 11, 12.
       > Politechnika Gdańska (B in map) – 6th stop, lines: 6, 9, 11, 12.
       > Miszewskiego – Teatr Miniatura (C in map) – 7th stop, lines: 6, 9, 11, 12.

    Walking time:
    10–15 minutes from tram stops to campus buildings.

    Buildings of interest:
    1 – Main building of Gdańsk Tech.
    30 – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology (9th floor conference rooms).

    Technical information

    Conference Registration

    Content under preparation. It will be available before the conference The registration desk will be open from 8:00 AM to early afternoon, Monday April 24th to Friday April 28th, at the conference venue (“A”, Main Lecture Hall Lobby).

    Speakers Briefing

    The authors who are presenting their paper and the session chairs will meet for a short briefing 15 minutes before the start of their session in the session room. Please attend on the day of your session only.

    Speaker should provide a short biography to be presented by the session chairman before starting the presentation;  Each participant will be asked to send one slide **** (download template) with short bio, at least one week before Conference, to the LO (LO_chairman@euroturbo.eu).
    Speakers should join the session 5 min before the Session start, to confirm their presence to the Session Chairman.

    Time of presentations

    • Each paper will be allocated 30 minutes including introduction and question-and-answer period except where noted otherwise.
    • Concurrent sessions will maintain uniform starting times.
    • The Presentation will be delivered by shearing the screen;
    • The only way to present the paper is to attend personally appropriate zoom session. The speaker must share the screen and make presentation;
    • If the speaker is not online at appropriate time his presentation will be cancelled, and the session will have a paused for the prescribed presentation time in order to keep synchronization of all sessions;
    • Speakers should verify  their capability to make and share the screen within zoom system.

    File for Presentation

    For presentations we recommend using standard formats such as PDF or PPT (PowerPoint) with a size of 1920×1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Please bring your files on a USB stick or ensure they are accessible via cloud storage or the internet for easy transfer.

    Audio-Visual Equipment

    • The computers will be connected to the speakers, and therefore sound can also be played.
    • There is no opportunity to present from an external location.
    • The laptops used during the presentations will be connected to the Wi-Fi.
    • The laptops planned for use are capable of presenting standard Office formats for presentations, such as: ODP, PDF, PPT, PPTX.
    • The laptops are also capable of playing various audio and video formats, including but not limited to: AAC, AVI, MKV, MOV, MP3, MP4, WAV, WEBM, WMV.
    • The projected output will have Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio).

    Internet

    Free WiFi is provided in the conference venue.

    Restriction

    Video-taping or audio-recording of any session during this conference is prohibited. The sale of any publication not authorized by ETC17 is also prohibited.

    Coffee Breaks

    Coffee, tea, and small snacks will be served during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks in the Assembly Hall, inside Building 8140.

    Lunch and Break time

    Standing lunch is included in the registration fee and will be served from
    Monday to Thursday in the Assembly Hall, inside Building 8140. The lunch break will last 90 minutes.
